Bighorn sheep move in groups in Glacier's alpine and east side.    Rams grow enormous horns (which differ from antlers in that they do not drop off yearly) that they use to batter each other during the rut every fall in competitions for mates.

Base Camp Bigfork Dog Sledding

Hello from Base Camp Bigfork Dog Sledding:

We are still taking reservations for dogsled trips this season.
Conditions are great and it's still winter up in the mountains where our trails are.
In fact this late season snow will most likely carry us through the rest of the month and beyond.

So if you have anyone looking for a truly unique and memorable experience please share our services with them.

It's the best way to enjoy this winter like spring weather.

Artist Jonathan Qualben - How does he make those "concrete" sculptures???

Jonathan Qualben has devised a unique process that allows him to construct elegant wall-hung sculptures
using thin layers of concrete.

He has found a niche with his concrete figures, light of form in spite of an imposing material.
