Trail of the Cedars

Avalanche Lake Trail
For those wanting to hike to Avalanche Lake the Trail of the Cedars continues on upward to the mountain-ringed Avalanche Lake. The trail ascends 500 feet making the trail to Avalache Lake one of the most accessible backcountry lakes in Glacier National Park.
The Trailhead is across from the Avalanche Creek Campground just 15 miles north of Apgar on Going-to-the-Sun Road.
